Banana Almond Tart

A tropical flavoured tart which is easy to prepare and delightful to the tastebuds. Banana Almond Tart is at the very basic a tart filled with hearty slices of banana topped with almond cream filling and baked to perfection. A very moist and sweet dessert perfect for any occasion. If baked correctly the moistness of the tart coupled with the undisputable taste of banana will almost melt in your mouth and leaving nothing but pure enjoyment.

Recipe
4 to 5 pcs Banana (Ripe)
50 gm Raisins
4 nos Whole Eggs
200 gm Icing Sugar
200 gm Ground Almond
1/2 tsp Vanilla Essence
30 gm Almond Flakes
300 gm Sugar Dough

Method
1) Slice the banana into small slices.
3) Line 9" (23cm) tart mould with sugar dough and arrange the banana slices and raisins in it.
3) In a mixing bowl, add in eggs, icing sugar and ground almond together to make almond cream. Whisk till smooth.
4) Add in vanilla essence and pour the almond cream filling into the tart mould with the banana slices.
5) Scatter almond Flakes on top the tart and bake in the oven at 180C (356F) for 25 to 30 minutes till golden brown. Remove from mould and leave to cool before serving.

Recipe makes 1 X 9" (23cm) Tart Mould
